Name: Level 3 Infrastructure Technician Course
This qualification is made up of the following knowledge modules that can all be taken and awarded separately:
- Pearson BTEC Level 3 Award in Networking and Architecture
- Pearson BTEC Level 3 Award in Mobile and Operating Systems
- Pearson BTEC Level 3 Award in Cloud Services
- Pearson BTEC Level 3 Award in Coding and Logic
- Pearson BTEC Level 3 Award in Business Processes
NB – Each of these knowledge modules can be taken as individual qualifications and a certificate achieved for each of them. Many training companies teach these knowledge modules separately as individual awards.
How is this qualification assessed?
Each knowledge module is assessed with a 20 question, multiple choice, exam. Each of these exams are taken separately.
Is the Infrastructure Technician Course known as anything else?
Yes, many companies run the basics of the infrastructure IT technician course under different names such as IT Support or Network Infrastructure Technician. These are normally non-accredited but cover the same basic theory or may run only select modules from it.
